The original no sulfur J-MAC® Classic ® Clay for professional sculptors is available in three degrees of hardness and two different colors. It is easy to work with, requires the minimum in armature support. It is the worldwide favorite of sculptors. This clay is compatible with many molding rubbers, and will not cause a problem during the mold making process.

The actual weight of J-Mac products varies by slab and case. The amount shown in the shopping cart for product cost and shipping will be based on an average of 10 lb and 50 lb for slabs and cases, respectively. These virgin waxes are specifically formulated for use in art bronze castings. The quality of these waxes is rigidly controlled so that uniform results should be obtained at all times when using the same working conditions.

2-AB150 is a man made Microcrystalline Wax. It duplicates the working qualities of Brown Microcrystalline Wax with less tackiness and more uniformity in both properties and color. It is also a little bit firmer than the non-man made wax.

Optimus 3.0 Brown Microcrystalline Wax. It is pliable and workable by hand or with sculpting tools. (weights vary between 65-68lbs per box, we will adjust accordingly)

Optimus 2.0, an Amber Micro Wax, is a much softer Microcrystaline wax and can come in a translucent whitish to an amber color, depending on the batch. Great for mixing with hard brittle waxes.

This wax has all of the working qualities of Classic Clay. It feels like a plastilina sculpting clay and it works like a plastilina sculpting clay, but it is totally ash free. It can be autoclaved and fired, leaving no residue. This permits the production of bronze castings without making a rubber mold and casting wax parts.
